Frequently Asked Questions.
We know that choosing a web agency is a big decision, and we want you to feel confident every step of the way. Below are the questions we hear most often from new and prospective Clients. If you do not see your question here, we are always just a phone call or email away.
Service & Scope
Q1: What services does ApexWeb360 offer?
We offer three core services: custom website design and development, SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy, and our 360 Maintenance plans. Think of us as your complete digital partner, we build your online presence, optimize it so customers can find you on both traditional search engines and AI platforms, and then maintain it so it keeps performing month after month. We also offer Optimization Tiers for Clients who are ready to take their search strategy to the next level with active backlink building and advanced ranking work.
Q2: What is included in the initial website build?
Your website build includes custom design tailored to your brand, a fully mobile-responsive layout, contact form setup, Google Analytics integration, SSL security, social media link integration, and a light SEO and GEO schema structure built into the foundation of every page. This gives your site a strong starting point for search engines and AI platforms to recognize and index your content. Please note that active backlink integration is not included in the base build. That requires an Optimization Tier agreement, which involves ongoing work and monitoring. The exact scope of your build is always defined in your signed Statement of Work (SOW).
Q3: What is the difference between SEO and GEO, and do I need both?
Great question. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) improves how your website ranks in traditional search results on platforms like Google and Bing. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the next evolution. It ensures your business shows up as a trusted answer when someone uses an AI tool like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Perplexity to ask a question. As more people shift to AI-powered search, GEO is becoming just as important as SEO. At ApexWeb360, we build both into your strategy from day one because the strongest digital presence covers every channel, not just one.
Q4: What are the Optimization Tiers and when do I need them?
Our Optimization Tiers go beyond the foundation included in your initial build. Starting at Tier 2, we begin active backlink integration, which means building the network of credible external sites that point to yours, a key factor in how Google determines your authority and ranking. Tiers 3 and 4 expand into more aggressive and competitive strategies including deeper content optimization, citation building, and advanced GEO schema work. These tiers require a separate Client agreement because they involve ongoing, hands-on work and continuous monitoring. If you are serious about ranking competitively in your market, an Optimization Tier is the path to get there.
Q5: Can you redesign my existing website or only build new ones?
Absolutely, we handle both. Whether you are starting from scratch or have an existing site that needs a refresh, ApexWeb360 can help. We will assess what you currently have, discuss what is working and what is not, and build a plan that makes sense for your goals and budget. Either way, the process starts with a free consultation so we can understand your business before making any recommendations.
Process & Timeline
Q6: How does the process work from start to finish?
It starts with a free consultation where we learn about your business, your goals, and what you need. From there, we put together a custom proposal and a Master Service Agreement (MSA) for your review. Once you approve the proposal and sign the MSA, we collect the initial deposit per your SOW and get to work. We build an initial design, then sit down with you, either virtually or in person, to review it together, align on the direction, and agree on next steps before moving into the final build. Once the site is complete and you approve it, final payment is due before we publish. After launch, your 360 Maintenance plan kicks in to keep everything running strong.
Q7: How long does it take to build a website?
A standard 4 to 6 page website is typically completed within 3 to 4 weeks from the project kickoff date. That timeline assumes the Client provides content, including text, images, and logo, in a timely manner. If content delivery is delayed, the timeline will shift accordingly. Larger or more complex projects are scoped and estimated individually. We will always give you a realistic timeline upfront so there are no surprises.
Q8: What do I need to provide to get started?
The most important things you can bring to the table are your brand assets and your story. That means your logo, any existing brand colors or fonts, photos of your business or team, and the text you want on your site. If you do not have all of this ready, do not worry. We will walk you through a structured content intake process that makes it easy. The more clearly you can communicate what your business does and who your customers are, the better we can design a site that works for you.
Q9: What happens after the initial design is finalized?
Once we complete the initial design, we schedule a review meeting with you. This is where we walk through the design together, gather your feedback, and formally agree on next steps and any final adjustments before moving into the full build. We do not assume anything. Your approval at this stage is the green light to proceed, ensuring the final product reflects exactly what you envisioned. This step is built into every engagement because we believe great websites are built through collaboration, not guesswork.
Maintenance & Results
Q10: Why is there a 6-month minimum on maintenance plans?
This is one of the most important things we want every Client to understand. SEO and GEO do not produce overnight results. Search engines like Google need time to crawl your site, index your content, evaluate your authority, and gradually move you up in rankings. The same is true for AI platforms learning to recognize and reference your business. In our experience, meaningful, measurable progress typically begins to show between months 3 and 6. A 6-month minimum ensures we have enough runway to actually deliver results rather than stopping just as the momentum is building. Think of it as planting a garden. You would not pull up the seeds after two weeks and wonder why nothing grew.
Q11: What does the 360 Maintenance plan actually cover?
Our 360 Maintenance plans are designed for proactive protection and continuous improvement, not just keeping the lights on. Depending on your tier, coverage includes monthly SEO and GEO efficiency reporting, keyword and citation visibility tracking, technical health checks, competitor benchmarking, dynamic implementation of metadata and content adjustments, and for our Enterprise Apex Clients, ongoing architectural security audits and cutting-edge schema updates as AI and search technology evolves. Every tier is built around the idea that your digital presence should be getting stronger every single month.
Q12: How long before I see results from SEO and GEO optimization?
We want to be straightforward with you on this because we think honesty builds better partnerships. SEO and GEO optimization is a minimum 6-month process. Google and other search engines take time to index your content, assess your site's authority, and reflect those improvements in your rankings. AI platforms take a similar amount of time to begin recognizing and referencing your business as a trusted source. Most Clients begin to see meaningful movement between months 3 and 6, with stronger and more consistent results building from there. Anyone who promises you page-one results in 30 days is not being straight with you. We are.
Payment & Legal
Q13: How does payment work?
Payment terms are specific to each engagement and are outlined in your individual Statement of Work (SOW). That said, most projects involve a minimum 30% downpayment to initiate work, with the remaining balance structured around key project milestones. Monthly maintenance and optimization fees are billed on a recurring basis as defined in your SOW. We will always walk you through the payment structure clearly before you sign anything, so you know exactly what to expect and when.
Q14: Who owns the website once it is built?
You do, once final payment is received. Upon completion of payment, full ownership of the website design and all custom content created for your project is transferred to you as the Client. It is worth noting that all design concepts, mockups, and proposals created during the engagement remain the property of ApexWeb360 until the site is officially published and final payment has been received. After that point, it is entirely yours. We also retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless you request otherwise in writing.
Q15: What happens if I want to cancel a service?
We get it, circumstances change. Either party may terminate a service agreement with 30 days written notice. You are responsible for payment covering any work completed up to the termination date, and initial deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. For 360 Maintenance plans, please keep in mind the 6-month minimum commitment. Early termination within that window may be subject to the terms outlined in your MSA. If something is not working for you, we always encourage a conversation first. Most concerns can be resolved without walking away.
